Deep Etch Sandblasting
This method of engraving was very popular in the early and mid nineteen hundreds with many engraving shop all over the country. Today, only a hand full practice this dying art form. If you are looking for depth to each cut, then this is the perfect choice. Hand Etched offers the deepest cuts and is totally unique to the finished cuts, no manufactured look here. Just looking at the engraved item will let you know that there was stencil created here. Since every design or letter is made by a series of cuts the lettering is mostly block shape.
This process has a more manufactured finished look to the engraving. But your engraving options are unlimited. Basically you can engraving pretty much anything with thousands of fonts to choose from and basically any custom logo you have unlimited possibilities. This process is perfect for duplicating logos, corporate logos and all types of font style to choose from. Stone Wheel Hand engraving doesn’t use font styles to produce a letter or text it is done by a series of cuts, block letters. You can only engrave a font style using this process
You can’t go wrong with either engraving process. It will come down to what you are wanting to engrave, if engraving a custom logo image, a corporate logo, or want to use a certain font then you have use the Sandblasting engraving process.
